1 - Growth - Growth means the growth of any part of the body, which can be seen directly by us. Such as - Increase in length. That is, the increase is quantitative. Apart from this, some of the features of growth are as follows.
The increase can be seen directly.
Growth is quantitative.
Growth does not always happen at the same speed.
Growth does not last a lifetime.
There is a time period of growth.
Physical growth and mental growth affect each other.
2 - Development - The scope of development is large, which includes growth. That is, growth also comes under development.
Apart from this, some of the characteristics of development are as follows.
Development is both direct and indirect.
Evolution is visible or not.
Development is a life-long process.
Development is a never-ending process.
Both physical development and mental development come under development.
What is the difference between growth and development
Difference between growth and development is the following difference between growth and development, which is as follows.
Difference in growth and development
Development - Development is a lifelong process. The field of development is very wide. Which includes our entire field of development. Which includes both our physical development and mental development. Development itself has a wide meaning. Under growth - "growth" is a small part. Or to say that "growth" itself comes under development.
Growth is a small part of our growth process. In which only "growth" is included. The time period of growth is fixed, that is, the growth is only for a fixed time. That is, there is a small part in the whole development.

10 - Mental Development ⇀ Mental development is a development that goes on continuously. While our mental development goes on continuously.

11 - Also if we talk about Indian - mystics, then we see that Indian mystics have divided "human development into 7 (seven) parts. Which is as follows.
According to Indian personalities
(i) Pregnancy - Under this, the period of time from "conception to birth" is included.
(ii) Infancy - Under this - the time period of "from birth to 5 years" is included.
(iii) Childhood - under it - covers the time period of "five years to 12 years".
(iv) Adolescence - under it - time period of "12 years to 18 years" is included.
(v) Youth status - under it - includes the time period of "18 years to 25 years".
(vi) Old age - under it - includes the time period of "25 years to 55 years".
(vii) Old age - under it - includes the time period of "55 years to death".
