Ans. Ploughing - The prosess of loosing and turning the soil is called ploughing or tilling . this process is important because of the reasons.

➤ It allows the roots to reach deeper into the soil. this helps to give the plant more firmly to the ground.

➤ It helps in trapping air in the soil, which in necessary for roots.

➤ It helps the soil to retain moisture for a longer duration.

➤ It helps in bringing nutrient - rech soil to the top.

➤ It helps the soil to mix well with fertilizers.

➤ It helps in the removal of undesirable plants callled weeds.

or tilling.
After ploughing , big Lumps of soil (called clods) may remain in the field. these are crushed using wooden oriron planks called levellers and this process in called levelling.

1- sprinkler irrigation- is a method that involve pumping water under pressure throw nozzle and spraying. It over soil like artificial rain. This method is particularly effective for irrigating uneven land and areas having sandy soil.

2- Drip irrigation- Is a method that involves the the use of pipe or tube with very normal holes to deliver water drop-by-drop directly at at the base of of each plant. This method is very e useful for areas having a shortage of water.

ans-
1- mixed cultivation- In which type of cultivation, two or more different type of Crop are sown in a particular field at the same time.

2- crop rotation- the practice of growing two or more more dissimilar in the same field, one after the other, is called crop rotation.


Qus8- describe good products that we get from animals?


answer- we obtain many kinds of food items from animals. Rearing animals on a larger scale, for good and other needs, is called animal husbandry. Here are some example of good products obtained from animals.

* milk is obtained from animals such as cows, buffalo and goats. It is used to to prepare a variety e off products such as butter,ghee,courd, and cheese.

* meat is obtained from animals such as goats and chicken. People also eat many kind of fish, prawns, shrimps, lobster, and other sea animal.

* egg are obtained from words such as hands, turkey and geese.

* honey is obtained from honeybees.

Ans-

1-natural fertilizers- these are obtained from plant and animal wastage.

2- these increase the humus content of the soil.

3- example are manure, composed, bonn meal mixture of Crushed and coarsely ground bones and bark of neem.

1- these are chemical substance produce in fertilizer.

2- these do not increase the humus content of the soil.

3- example are are urea, ammonium sulphate, poltas and Npk cnitrogen, phosphorus, potassium fertilizer.

ans- mix cultivation- the crop chosen are such that nutrient needs of one crop are are fulfilled by the other. For example- aleguminous plant, a plant having seed in long pods such as chickpea or mustard can be grown in the same field, along with a a cerial such a wheat.

* crop rotation- this is done keeping in mind the the nutrient equipment of a particular crop. For example- crops such as wheat and paddy use up a lot nitrogen from the soil. If lost nitrogen can be replaced naturally if leguminous plants sach as pea, soya bean aur green beans are sown offers wheat or paddy.
